Welcome to my first MY first blog video response to “yer” questions with “my” answers.. January 2012 Edition.
Last weekend I was in San Francisco following my favorite NFL team, the 49ers. They finished the season 13-3 and for the first time in a decade were in the playoffs and hosting the New Orleans Saints (highly picked to win the game btw). Believe it or not, this was my first NFL game I had ever been to (however I’ve been to lots of CFL games growing up in Canada) and I was completely stoked to be at Candlestick Park with my wife (also her first game) watching my team play in front of a sold-out, off the hook, home crowd!
The day after the game we headed over to Alcatraz for a tour of the infamous island prison. It’s been retired since the early sixties, so there were no prisoners there however we took the night tour and it was very cool. A great way to experience the vibe in that place with lots of shadows and a COLD wind blowing through the place. It was an audio guided tour, so that’s why I’m wearing headphones in the shot below.
A great weekend trip to San Francisco, even with the 9 hour flights from Bermuda. I also enjoyed filming the video responses to your questions and I look forward to doing it again soon!
